Every year lakhs of aspirants enroll for UPSC exam from which it is said only 1% students are selected. UPSC such a wonderful exam, which tests your patience,humanity,knowledge,perfection,discipline and much more. It not so easy to pass this tests without a roller coaster and many of you, who might be reading my blog maybe are IAS aspirant. You all might know Mr.Dipankar Choudhary who is currently IPS in Kerala have cracked UPSC CSE 2019 with AIR 42 and is on his way to be IAS and to do more great for our nation. Even being IPS, its not as simple to manage time and study but focus too plays important role in this preparation. Mr.Dipankar have been fulfilling his job in best way helping people in pandemic and trying his best to give best service to our country. When I asked him about time management as ofcourse IPS officer is a big duty itself; he dedicated his success to his support system i.e; his friends,family and everyone else and also he said he just needed some push to crack it as he scored well in last attempt. Theres always rush in market to buy scholars notes but Mr. Dipankar has said success is always unique for every person, you can take inspiration but make your own notes. Talking about books Mr. Dipankar read books lot of time to understand concepts and knowledge is limitless to always get to know new facts but he made sure to make his concept clear. About reading newspaper, he explained that more than reading newspaper the issue behind it is more important. To discuss about text series, Mr. Dipankar didn't do coaching but did join test series, as per as his opinion it play important role in prelims and mains to own your skills, while writing answers aspirants get to develop their own answers. When I asked him about the things an aspirant should do or should not, he answered," Have as much as in depth knowledge as you can,don't go for markets 500 important topics or such books one need to have conceptual base about studying one subject so going for important topics books is of no use; studying should be constant, one should not study taking breaks like studying for a week or two and going for vacation or taking a break, consistency is must in preparation; mental health and physical health is equally important so exercise everyday and be punctual". "UPSC is long run marathon where you should not stop" well said by Mr. Dipankar and today he won that race. It was really inspiring about how he fulfilled his dreams and never diverted his focus and had clear goals. Achieve what you always wanted, don't let anyone stop you.
