Fridays For Future - Miss. Leonie Bremer

Leonie Bremer has been climate activist even before Fridays for Future. Leonie Bremer is one of the nationwide speakers for “Fridays for Future” (FFF). She is a student of environmental and energy economics and lives in Cologne. She also talked about how actively she has been participating in forest areas where trees are destroyed and collided
to form Lignite Coal which produce energy that is very very harmful. When Leonie was asked about her inspiration in this journey, it was really impressive the way she answered, "I don't think somebody or someone should inspire us, because when we read science and understand the climate crisis as a danger it is, there is no energy needed from somebody who inspires you, but when you go outside to bring it in action its not person its whole movement that gives me energy". When she was asked about her goals that she wants to accomplish from Friday for Future, she said that, "My only goal is that we have a future that is not exceeding with 1.5° Global Warming which is not in cause of other counties or areas". Leonie explained that reading science is so important as its very complex thing that we all are going through and we all should understand this, she insisted that its really hard but we have lot many media facilities and people whom you can choose to ask about it. She explained about climate disasters as well where people have to leave country or are starving they don't need to understand science at that point of time but to understand what's going on with the climate so that time one should listen to people who are telling truth about climate reality. Leonie has been inspiring many students to be active part in this movement and has been bringing lot many changes in society today.
